Workshop/Activity Application

The international Child Art Foundation (ICAF) invites subject matter experts and eminent educators to host a one-hour workshop or a two-hour activity at the 2024 WCF on June 30 – July 2, 2024, at the National Mall across the U.S. Capitol.

The workshop or activity can be designed for schoolchildren or their teachers and parents. There is no charge or honorarium. The WCF workshops and activities are based on STEAMS Education that integrates STEM disciplines with Art and Sports for children’s holistic development.

The festival’s education framework is as follows:

  • Sunday, June 30th: Health & Environment Day. Sharing risks and concerns common to all.
  • Monday, July 1st: Creativity & Imagination Day. Developing potential for peak performance.
  • Tuesday, July 2nd: Peace & Leadership Day. Acquiring skills that inspire teamwork.

Workshops are for no longer than 30 minutes. Activities can take one or two hours.

Workshops and activities take place in tents that have tables and chairs.

Participants can range from preschoolers to senior citizens, numbering 10 to 50.

We provide the art supplies. Any additional materials you require, you must bring along. No sales are allowed. No honorarium or expense reimbursement—a transaction-free educational event.
